Pimp My Apartment

I'm moving in to my new apartment on June. (Yaye me!) But that means less shopping for me though. (Not so yaye me.) But still,  new  car, new apartment. Gosh! Pwede na ako mag-asawa! *ehem*

Below are some ideas I saw on Pottery Barn and Ikea. I can't even decide which ones to buy. Pick pick pick!

Almost Summer

So I've been thinking, I'm going to learn surfing this summer. But to do that, I gotta learn how to swim first!

Since I now own a car (woohoo!), I can go to swimming lessons every weekend. And since surfing classes don't start until late May, I have enough time to actually do it. Oh god, summer will be soooo exciting!

Kermit the green-minded Mazda

I finally did it! I bought a car and I shall call it Kermit.

Kermit is a green Mazda 2. Other specs, I have really no idea. I only chose the car because of it's color and size. But I know that he's 95% Japan made. So I guess that's good right?

When I drove Kermit, it felt amazing. Finally the freedom I knew I'd get when I owned a car. You couldn't wipe the grin on my face as I casually and freely drove it from the dealership to our house. It's a fantastic feeling!

Are you happy?

I have asked that question a few times before and I've always been stuck for a reply. I've continuously searched for an answer and at this moment, I finally admitting that perhaps I am not.

I am not happy. I have a job that I don't even like. I have no friends I can drink or party with. I have crazy long relationship that's full of dishonesty. My everyday life feels like a routine. I can simply say that I actually don't have a life. And as a result, I seek happiness in material possessions. I buy pricey stuff to comfort myself. I impulsively buy costly things to conceal my sadness. But even if I balance happiness with money, and however comfort my credit cards give me, I know someday it's going to end. Someday I'm gonna be drowned with debt and where else can I get happiness from? Where else can I turn to?

I'm sick of being me. I'm tired of concealing this frustration with stupid laughs. I am not happy. I am exhausted.

Hair Inspiration - Ombre

The moment I dyed my hair last year, I knew I'm going to be so addicted. Every  three months (cus it's the allowable months), I get different shades of brown and highlights on my hair. The one I have right now is a little bit lighter on the back, it looks like a have stripes hair. It's probably the most daring hair I've gotten so far.

Ombre hair. This one, I will definitely try next. There are salons who are actually specializing on doing this style, and I really thought it's just dyed hair that grew or something. Fox and Jane in NYC does this and I should probably get it done there. It's quite pricey but I'm sure it's gonna be worth it! I think it's about time that I get super light hair and a different haircut (but still long) as well.

I'm zooo eggcited! (Sorry, still not over with Easter holiday.)

Beauty and the prom dress

Forgive me Magic Cards, for I have sinned again. :(

Today, I accompanied my sister to the mall to get her prom dress. First stop was David's Bridal. We saw some nice dresses but not in a very good quality so no luck. Second stop was Windsor. Now this one I was pretty sure she'll find something. But still no luck. My sister was too picky and I was getting impatient. We ended up going to Macy's and there we found hundreds of dresses that she wanted to try on. So, I left her there and just told her to call me when she has to pay.

So anyway, I went to the beauty section to get some new makeups when I saw that Clinique is having a sale! The beauty advisor was pretty convincing, putting all these stuff on my face which actually felt and looks really good. So yeah, I ended up getting everything. But hey, the lady was very generous too. She gave me two gifts for buying a lot of their stuff. The two gifts includes two bags with two smaller bags, three shades of eye shadow, blush, mascara, lip gloss, and moisturizer inside. Lucky, right?  The 3 step Skin Care includes a bag as well. The box too matches the bag, I just can't throw it away. It's so girly, and I'm a lucky girl! I also bought a no. 11 Even Better Makeup. This foundation is my favorite. It hides my pimple marks very well, it doesn't dry my skin, it has sun screen and it also corrects dark spots and uneven skin tone. How's that?

Cuteness Overload

It's not even pay day yet and I already spent too much money buying all these things that are not even important. Really irresponsible. *head shaking*

First thing that I bought - an Instax Mini 25 (white). I already got my dslr, this one will only serve as a toy for sure. But then I wanted to buy these cute little photo albums, and those photo decorations where you hang all those tiny polaroid pictures with a cute and tiny hangers and magnets, which by the way, you can buy from Mochithings. Who can resist those, really? You guys gotta check that site out. Everything is so colorful and adorable and cute. I wanted to buy everything on that store. Gosh!

The second one that I bought is the Floral Docs. This one is quite important. I've been eyeing these shoes for quite sometime now and it's about time that I buy them. I didn't buy the white floral though. These ones are better, as per the boyfriend's taste, and it's easier to match up (and clean!).

Third and last, I bought two lipsticks from Lime Crime. One pink and one orange. Colors that I know I will never wear to work. Okay, the pink one maybe I will. I have to try it first if it's too pink or what. But still. It's not like I get up early in the morning and have time to put on make up. It only happens like twice a month. Tss.

So yeah, I bought all those in just one night. The impulsiveness in me won again and trust me, it's very unstoppable. I am a girl, and cute things are my weakness. Forgive me, my magic cards.
